Beachwood High School Soccer Program 5k Run / 1 Mile Walk June 19, 2011

Dear Friend,
The Beachwood High School Soccer Association will be holding its annual 5k Run / 1 Mile Walk, on June 19, 2011 to benefit the soccer programs as well as donating some of the proceeds to charity. The race is intended to promote the Men’s & Women’s Beachwood soccer programs, raise funds to provide for team needs and opportunities above and beyond what is normally provided by the school; and to encourage running and walking as ways to remain active and healthy.
The date is perfect for Cleveland’s racing schedule, as it will draw short distance runners as well as long distance runners. In addition to Greater Cleveland’s regular runners, we expect to continue to attract alumni, faculty, friends, and supporters, as well as the team members who will benefit from the event. We intend to actively promote the event throughout the Greater Cleveland community through local media, & mailings and by providing registration forms at earlier races. We are confident of another large turnout.
